Woodpecker Flute in A, G, or F#
The bird head flutes are available in the keys of "A", "G", and "F#" and are a wonderful combination of fine musical instruments and wood sculpture. The black flutes are walnut that is Ebonized. This is a process used in the early 1900. Even though the wood was already rare and costly, Ebony furniture was popular at that time. To compensate for that, wood workers developed a dyeing process called Ebonizing. Unlike a stain, the dyeing process penetrates the wood fiber deeply simulating the black texture of Ebony.

These instruments are a wonderful combination of fine musical instruments and wood sculpture. Key of A is $335, G is $355 and F# is $375. Select a Key from the pulldown menu:
