The White Tail Hawk with turquoise cabochons in the key of "B" minor is made from domestic walnut, a hardwood. The flute is sealed with non-toxic oils, giving this flute a clear, bright voice. The inlaid turquoise cabochons add to the natural beauty of this flute and enhance the functional art quality of the instrument.
This wooden flute is the highest octave in the key of "B" flute we make and is a good accompaniment flute for the Condor Bass "B" flute. Its ease of play and durability make it ideal for outdoor use such as hiking and backpacking.
It is deeper in tone then the Merlin "C".
It is a 6-hole flute. We cover the 3rd hole from the top of the flute (known as the 6th hole) with a leather tie, giving the option to use it as a 6-hole or a 5-hole flute.
This wooden flute is 17.75 inches (45 cm) long.
Each flute is eligible for our free "Beginner/Intermediate How-To-Play" instruction, which includes an instructional booklet with fingering charts and DVD.
