The Pueblo Signature Flute is dedicated to the Native weavers. Their boundless creativity and complex craftsmanship is inspiring. The intricate geometric patterns and symbols in the weavings are filled with meaning and messages.
This flute design is a modest representation of the weaving patterns and is
uniquely highlighted by sterling silver bezels inlayed with turquoise cabochons.
This Pueblo flute is crafted from black walnut which is a hardwood that has a clean, clear voice, especially on the high notes.
Being a Signature Series flute, it has an exceptionally brilliant voice and requires very little breath to play it. This feature allows easy control over the notes and playing techniques. It has a strong voice and is extremely responsive, giving the player an intimate connection with each note.
The Pueblo flute is a functional art piece. We highly recommend displaying it on a flute stand. Not only will this show it off in your home or office, it will inspire you to play more often.
Tuned in the key of "F#” minor this flute can also be played in the relative major diatonic scale in the key of "A".
Each Signature flute is hand polished to a fine finish, and completed with several layers of non-toxic oils.
We continually strive to improve our flute designs and to craft instruments that are responsive, have superior tonal quality and exceptional amplitude. In this ongoing quest we developed a new airflow combination that minimizes the amount of turbulence going through the flute. Every High Spirits Signature Series flute utilizes this special airflow design, which gives these flutes exceptional breath control.
Our Signature Series flutes have a broad, balanced voice that equally expresses both warm low notes, and clear high notes. They require very little breath pressure, which allows for better control over the notes, and a wider range of playing styles.
This flute is 22.25 inches (56 cm) long with a 1-inch (2.5 cm) bore diameter.
