Our Double Nova Poplar flute in the key of 'G' is handcrafted from a single piece of domestic Poplar wood. Polar is a hardwood which gives the flute a crisp, clear musical voice. Poplar is light weight, features straight grain, and it's sometimes called Rainbow Poplar for its range of color highlights: from green, to purple, to gray.
The dimensions for this flute are: 16-inches long (40.6 cm) by 2.25-inches wide (5.7 cm) by 1.25 deep (3.2 cm)
Our Double Flutes have two mouthpieces so you can play it as a double flute or a single flute instantly. The flute is tuned in the key of 'G' minor and can also be played in the relative major diatonic scale in the key of 'A♯'.
