Sparrow Hawk flute in the key of "A" minor (440 Hz) is one of our most popular flutes. It is handcrafted from a single piece of sustainable and domestic Aromatic Cedar. Handcrafted from a single piece of domestic Spanish Cedar, a softwood that has rich musical voice, with warm high notes and firm low notes.
It is tuned in the key of "A" minor but can also be played in the relative major diatonic scale in the key of "C".
The key of 'A' is ideal for any first time flute player because of its size; it is 19-inch (48 cm) length making it easy to play for most hand sizes.
This is a six hole flute, which comes with a leather hole cover that can be used to close the third hole from the top (as seen in the picture) to make learning to play very easy. The hole cover can easily be removed.
