How To Play
Every flute is built to be playable the day you receive it. The pentatonic scale does the heavy lifting — no wrong notes, just sounds waiting to be found.
These are the first four things to learn: your flute, your first sound, your first notes, your first song.
Take them one at a time. There's no hurry.

Your First Flute
Your flute arrives ready to play. Tuned by hand. Finished with natural oils. Wrapped in a small leather tie around the sixth hole.
Leave the tie there for now. The five open holes give you a complete pentatonic scale — every note you need to start making music. When you're ready to expand, untie it. There's no rush.
Hold it. Feel the wood in your hands. The first note doesn't have to be beautiful. The flute is more forgiving than you think.

Your First Sound
Take a breath. Not a big one — just a natural one. The flute responds to soft, steady air. Think of it like blowing across a warm cup of tea to cool it down.
Cover all the holes with your fingers. Bring the mouthpiece to your lips. Blow softly. That's it.
If nothing happens, try less air, not more.
The flute speaks when the pressure is right.
