Our Hummingbird Signature Flute in the key of 'G' minor (440 Hz) is the newest design in our Hummingbird Signature Series. Our Signature Flutes are designed to be both concert quality musical instruments and functional artwork.

All our flutes are created from a single piece wood. The Hummingbird is made with Aromatic Cedar wood, and enhanced with Paua Shell inlay. It features a unique airflow system specific only to our Signature series flutes. Each Signature Flute has a one-inch bore diameter along with a special internal construction that amplifies the flute's tonality, musical precision, and sonic responsiveness.

The design of the Hummingbird flute honors the tiny but incredible hummingbirds that reside in, and migrate through southern Arizona. It is also inspired by the Paton Center For Hummingbirds which is located in our hometown of Patagonia Arizona, as a part of the Tucson Audubon Society.

We chose Aromatic Cedar for this flute because of its exceptional tonal qualities, which give the flute a clear, warm, balanced musical voice. We chose Paua Shell inlay because of its vibrant iridescent color, which reminded us of the incredibly vibrant feather's of a hummingbird.

Our Signature Series flutes utilize a unique airflow design that provides exceptional responsiveness and player control, superior amplification, and makes them ideal for a wide range of musical styles.

The flute is tuned in the key of G minor and can also be played in the relative major diatonic scale in the key of A♯ / B♭. The dimensions of the flute is 21-inches (54 cm) in length with a 1-inch (2.5 cm) bore diameter.
