Our Limited Edition Sparrow Hawk Cherry Wood Flute in the key of "A" minor (440 Hz) is our most friendly played musical key. It's easy to play and ideal for first time players because of its overall size; this flute is 19 inches (48 cm) long.
The Sparrow Hawk is crafted from a single piece of Cherry wood (Prunus serotina) and sealed with nontoxic oils that give the flute a long lasting resonant musical voice. The hand-shaped bird fetish is tied with navy blue leather.

Its ease of play and the hardwood durability of Cherry make it ideal for playing outdoors and taking with you on adventures. The flute is tuned in the key of "A" minor and can also be played in the relative major diatonic scale in the key of "C".

This is a 6-hole flute, we cover the 3rd hole from the top of the flute with a leather tie (also navy blue,) which gives the player the option to use it as a 6-hole or a 5-hole flute. Learning to play can be easier when starting as a 5-hole flute and removing the leather flute cover once you're comfortable with holding your flute.
