Our White Tail Hawk in the key of "B" minor (440 Hz) is handcrafted from a single piece of domestic Walnut wood. The density of hardwood creates a crisp musical sound quality with clear and defined high notes across the scale.

This flute is great for beginners and collectors. The size makes it very easy to learn, while the design engravings along both sides of the flute, and the Turquoise stone inlay, makes it perfect for collectors. Our flutes are meant to be functional art!

Our flutes are sealed with nontoxic oils, which enhances the flute a clear, bright musical voice. The Whitetail Hawk flute is the highest octave in the key of "B" that we make.

It's 17.75 inches (45 cm) in length. Our flutes are handcrafted in the 'Sky Island' of southern Arizona, in the small mountain town of Patagonia.  Founded by Odell Mulski-Borg, we've been handmaking our flutes in the USA since 1990.

This is a six hole flute. We automatically include a leather hole cover with this flute, which can be used on the third hole from the top of the flute. Covering the third hole from the top makes the flute easier to learn to play. The leather hole cover can easily be untied and removed, giving the flute player the option of playing the instrument as either a five hole flute or a six hole flute.
