Our Condor Bass in the key of "E" minor is handcrafted from Aromatic Cedar, a softwood with a warm, smooth tonal musical voice. It is sealed with non-toxic oils, giving this flute a warm, resonant, and full voice.
It is the shortest of our bass flutes, making it the easiest bass to play. This wooden flute is tuned in the key of "E" minor and is a good accompaniment for playing with guitars. Our Kestrel high-tone flute in the key of "E" is also great accompanying flute for this deep-tone bass.
It is a 6-hole flute, we cover the 3rd hole from the top of the flute (known as the 6th hole) with a leather tie, giving the option to use it as a 6-hole or a 5-hole flute.
This flute is 23 inches (58 cm) long.
Each flute is eligible for our free "Beginner/Intermediate How-To-Play" instruction, which includes an instructional booklet with fingering charts and DVD.
