Red Tail Hawk - G - Walnut

Our Red Tail Hawk flute in the key of "G" minor has a soothing, melodic voice. Being a very versatile key, it plays well with other instruments and works well with many different styles of music expression.

For new players, this flute is best suited for those with medium hands or larger.  For those with flute-playing or wind instrument experience, this flute is easily played by the most hand sizes. Questions or concerns, contact us.

The flute is tuned in the key of "G" minor and can also be played in the relative major diatonic scale in the key of "A♯"/"B♭".  This flute is 21.25 inches (about 54 cm) long.

The Red Tail Hawk flute is a good accompaniment flute for the Pocket Flute in the key of "G".

This is a six hole flute. We automatically include a leather hole cover with this flute, which can be used on the third hole from the top of the flute, as seen in the product's images. Covering the third hole from the top makes the flute easier to learn to play. The leather hole cover can easily be untied and removed, giving the flute player the option of playing the instrument as either a five hole flute or a six hole flute.
