Our Preservation Classic Madrone 'F#' Flute in the key of "F♯" minor handcrafted from a single piece of Madrone wood. We created this flute from a small lumber buy, which gave us the opportunity to make a batch of mid-tone traditional flutes.
We've worked with Madrone wood in the past and it has a fantastic hardwood, tonal quality that gives the flute a crisp, bright musical voice. The key of F# has an ethereal sound that speaks to the heart and the spirit.
The flute is tuned in the key of "F♯" minor and it can also be played in the relative major diatonic scale in the key of "A". This flute is 24 inches (61 cm) long.
This is a six hole flute, which comes with a leather hole cover that can be used to close the third hole from the top (as seen in the picture) to make learning to play very easy. The hole cover can easily be removed.
