Our Double Nova Flutes have two mouthpieces so you can play it as a double flute or a single flute instantly. It is handcrafted from a single piece of Poplar, which is a hardwood, with a Walnut fixed plate. Hardwoods produce a crisp clear musical sound with clear high notes, and distinct low notes.
This flute is tuned in the key of 'A' minor (440 Hz) but it can also be played in the relative major diatonic scale in the key of 'C'. Nova Double Flutes do not include a leather hole cover.
The dimensions for this flute are: 14-inches long (35.6 cm) by 2.25-inches wide (5.7 cm) by 1.25 deep (3.2 cm)
