Our Preservation Pueblo Signature Flute in the key of 'A' minor design was inspired by our respect and appreciation for artisan weavers. The artistry and complex craftsmanship of the intricate woven patterns influenced the design elements used when creating the look of the Pueblo flute.
Handcrafted from a single piece of Aromatic Cedar, the flute is hand-finished with nontoxic oils that seal the flute and give it a warm, resonant musical voice. Aromatic cedar is considered an tonal wood with exceptional sound qualities. Aromatic Cedar wood has a range of colors from ginger orange to burgundy red. In some cases it also features the yellow-toned sapwood of Aromatic Cedar.
Being tuned in the key of "A" minor; it can also be played in the relative major diatonic scale in the key of "C". This flute is approximately 20-inches (51 cm) long.
